Privacy.

The short version

We collect as little as possible, we host in the EU, and we never sell your data or use it to train any model. Your Klyr memory is private: we don't look at your content, unless you ask us to for support or the law requires it, and we are building Klyr so that, over time, we won't even be able to access it.

This website

We use Google Analytics to understand what works on this page. It only runs after you accept our cookie banner. Decline and no analytics cookie is set. IP addresses are anonymized. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and collects no personal data. No advertising, no cross-site tracking, no data brokers.

We also partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with this website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay, to improve the product and the site. Clarity only runs after you accept the cookie banner; it then uses first- and third-party cookies to determine whether you have seen the site before. Sensitive inputs are masked in recordings. When you buy

Checkout and billing are handled by Stripe, our payment processor, which processes your payment and issues your invoice. We receive your email and subscription status to provision and support your account. Your access key is delivered by email through Resend.

Your Klyr memory (the product)

• Hosted on isolated infrastructure in the EU (France).
• Encrypted, scoped to you. No colleague or team admin can read it.
• Never used to train any model.
• To build and search your memory, its content is sent for processing to models run by Microsoft (Azure AI Foundry), our model provider. Microsoft receives the content sent to the model to process it and return the result, and does not use it to train its models.
• Deleted on request. While your subscription runs, you can export your memory yourself, anytime. If you cancel, a 30-day grace window opens when your subscription ends — the end of your paid billing period, not the moment you cancel — and we email you the date it closes. During it, your full export is sent on request; then it is permanently deleted, automatically.

Update health

On each update check, the Klyr app on your machine sends us a random installation identifier, its version, the version of the plugin, the date of its last successful update, and the category of its last update error, if any (a fixed list of categories, never the error text). It sends no name, no file, no content and no usage data. We use it only to spot installations that fail to update. It cannot be turned off, because automatic updates depend on it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Write to hello@getklyr.ai and we act within 30 days. You can also change your cookie choice anytime by clearing this site's storage.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will note it here and, where required, ask for consent again.
